Message to Churches

Sound Prosperity is non-religion and non-political.  

Sound Prosperity is not a religion! It does not belong to any religion.

If we speak about God, we try to avoid the word God, for we are all over the world, where all kinds of religions are.

But we have a sure connection to what all religions have in common, the belief that there is a higher Intelligence or, how some call it, the Universe.
What we are explaning the people is based on science. Science of the brain and the heart.

We do NOT want to take in the place of your church; on the contrary, we want people to start acting as they believe. You cannot be greedy and say that you are a Christian. You cannot gossip when you are Christian. We tell the people that they should LISTEN to what they SAY and DO.

In the Bible, there are many samples where it is said that people should not be lukewarm. We want the people to be HOT for their religion if that is what they want, and LIVE what they preach!

We noticed that many people are going to the church each week, as a kind of insurance, that they will enter heaven one day, but during the week, they make hell on earth. How can that be?

We noticed, and not only here in Africa, that even pastors are not behaving as pastors should do! Some have more than one wife. Some are cheating. Some just leave their family for other fun things. Those are the things we tell people not to do!
Why?

Because you cannot expect a good life where you are not cheated when you are cheating yourself. You cannot tell people to be kind to each other and respect each other, when you don't practice that in your daily life. 

So, are we a threat? Perhaps, if you belong to those pastors.

DO NOT TO OTHERS WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAPPEN TO YOU, 

that rule is in all religions of the world, and we are helping people that this is not just a saying. It is the Truth. Their truth! 

Meditation

Meditation is another word for praying. Yes, it might be a bit different, in that sense that praying ends up more in ASKING GOD to change your life, while in meditation, we say the people, ASK God and then WORK to get it done. Praying and hanging around till God, somehow, will change your life is disrespectful to God.

So, we want to DIFFER from that kind of praying and go to the more universal known way of praying; namely, we really try to connect to parts in us that do not even know that we act disrespectfully, and change that part. We find out what we really want for ourselves and others. We find out why our life was so miserable till today.

We are so USED to gossip! We are so USED to make others look bad. You could even say we are addicted to jealousy and greed, combined with the all preferred gossiping.

Even pastors are speaking bad about Sound Prosperity now, and for what?

Are you aware that speaking bad is another word for gossiping?
Love one another! That is the Bible!
We go deeper and find in us where we only SAY we love each other, and then we find out that we cannot forgive our father, who has beaten us, or the guy who raped me, the husband who mistreated me, or the mother who was the worst of all.

In meditation, you get the chance to not only ASK God for things outside yourself to fix your life. In meditation, you dare to also LISTEN to what God has to say to you. THAT is what real  praying should be in the first place.

If you see meditation as a threat, then please sit still ones for yourself. Sit still and ONLY ask God: Dear God, can you please tell me why I never get an answer from you? Dear God, I sometimes feel so alone, where can I find you? Dear God, I now feel resentment against Sound Prosperity, because they meditate and I do not know what that is, so it must be wrong, can you tell me how it is possible that so many people are HAPPY and have HOPE, and is that a danger for my church, your church, I mean?
Then LISTEN!!!
Do not try to answer yourself with your ego!
When you feel the answer is separation, then you can be sure it was the ego, for the ego speaks first and loudest.

Let us pray:

Dear God, please open my heart so that I can see that the people working with Sound Prosperity who are visiting my church are more open, more light, freer and willing to help.
Dear God, I am afraid, for they do meditation! I am not used to that, but when they say they connect to You, why should I be afraid then? If they say they want to LEAVE FEAR, because that is the devil, and ONLY want to concentrate on LOVE, which is God, Dear God, I am so confused! What should I do? Can I join them, for I have some small things to heal myself...
I want to be still so that I can listen to Your answer. Then be still. You WILL get an answer, perhaps not directly after your prayer, perhaps it is on a totally unexpected way, for God loves that!

NO public meditation

We don't know if it happened, but we want to avoid meditation in public places. Meditation is only for people who want to connect to God and find out where they lost Him on their way. Where they lost their way to connect to their deepest, whole self.

If, in any meeting, there is a place for prayer, there can also be a place for meditation. If we want to avoid meditation during standard SP meetings, which we would prefer, then, in our eyes, there should not be prayers too, for it are business meetings.

Growing the mind

For all meetings where people want to grow their minds, meditation is the best and very recommended. If there are amoungst you who want to grow their minds, without meditation, they might choose to leave the room during that time and pray on another place or concentrate in the room on their prayers, while others meditate. They don't bite each other. They both grow larger.

Call to huge mass prayers

We want to invite all of you to join in common mass prayers for the good of your country, for wisdom for the president, for wisdom for all of us. We want to pray that we can turn FEAR into LOVE. There are so many fearful people! Let us give them hope! Let us let them FEEL that we all care about them and that we REFUSE to share their fear. We only poor love into the hearts of people in fear.
Can we do that, especially when things happen in a family, or for water where there are droughts? Let us pray more and then ACT upon our prayers so that God is ABLE to show his love through us.
Let us organize mass prayers to turn the decision from the president to cut the woods in Hwange to be replaced with Solar Panels. Let him see that we need EVERY tree in this country, for they bring rain, water, shade and food.

Then there is another aspect of your work with Sound Prosperity.

As you know, we support all churches by paying the volunteers SPURT. We trust, since you are a church, that you are not cheating, but when you accept SPURT for that part, you also have to accept SPURT for the tithes from the members of the church. It is not allowed to accept SPURT for the volunteers and not from the church members.

Also, realize that we see the Church as a business. You receive money; you have expenses, you have to save, you have to pay for care for your members etc. That is the reason we allow churches to be treated like businesses, which means that for the SPURT they accept from the members for the tithes, they can get an exchange as soon as available. AND because you are a business, you can provide business plans, where you can add all the things you want to do for your church, if approved. 

Let us work together, for when we don’t, there is separation and separation is not of God.
